Facework competence in intercultural conflict: an updated face-negotiation theory - ScienceDirect
‘‘Face’’ refers to a claimed sense of favorable social self-worth that a person wants others to have of her or him.
ituations such as conflict management, business negotiation and diplomatic negotiation entail active facework management.
More specifically, face influences conflict behavior, because, in any conflict situation, conflict parties have to consider protecting self-interest conflict goals and honoring or attacking another person’s conflict goal

Factorial Designs - Research Methods Knowledge Base
We can have it both ways if we cross each of our two time in instruction conditions with each of our two settings.
If I said I had a 3 x 4 factorial design, you would know that I had 2 factors and that one factor had 3 levels while the other had 4.
In this example, we can say that we have a 2 x 2 (spoken “two-by-two) factorial design. In this notation, the number of numbers tells you how many factors there are and the number values tell you how many levels.

“While we may not know how this will all end,” she added, “all know that we no longer want this governing system and regime.

Molly and Amy are two characters that are a lot easier to relate to—they are highly intelligent, fun, quirky feminists who are bonding over their talks of sexual experimentation, and this makes it easier for female audiences to feel empowered by them. It also boldly says to those used to solely seeing men talk about masturbation that yes, women engage in self-pleasure, too!

This Scene From ‘Booksmart’ Is Helping Me Learn How to Talk About Sex | Glamour
m. Most millennials, and certainly older generations of women, were raised in a sexual landscape that told us to shrink our desires, to mask them, if not erase them. As a result we’ve been out here in our bedrooms, horny, alone, and filled with shame, seeking anything even remotely phallic or humpable. Of course we used whatever we could get our hands on in the privacy of our bedrooms—a pillow, a stuffed animal, an electric toothbrush.
extremely normal.
that so much of what women and girls endure in terms of sexual embarrassment is actually a shared experience. Yes, I struggle to talk about sex and desire in my personal life, but if I had watched more scenes like that as a teenager, maybe I could’ve unlocked the shame cage I’ve been trapped in much earlier.

Here's what Booksmart gets right about LGBT representation – The National Student
So many stories of LGBT youth onscreen involve a fight against homophobic violence, a fight against themselves, their families, their peers. This may be a reality for many young people, but queer teenagers deserve to see fictional versions of themselves happy and accepted, too. Cinema is often escapism, after all.
We actually see her explore her sexuality in this movie.” Her crush on Ryan is a source of excitement and agony throughout the film and focused on as much – if not more than – Molly’s infatuation with popular boy Nick.
